
Argentine is excited to welcome Ann Raftery from the Pajama Program tonight. Ann trained our staff a few weeks ago, and is now providing a education session for our preschool parents!


It might be chilly outside but that isn't stopping Eagle Club students from painting snow inside!


ALL LCS Buildings will be closed on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, due to dangerously low temperatures. This includes the closing of the Multi-Purpose Building. We will make another announcement tomorrow afternoon regarding after-school activities and events. Have a great day and stay warm.


Due to dangerously low forecasted temperatures, ALL Linden Community School Buildings will be closed on Tuesday, January 21. This includes the closing the Multi-Purpose Buidling, all athletic activities and events, and all Community Education activities.


Argentine Staff Spotlight: Ms. Traci Turner
This is Ms. Traci's second year as a school social worker, and second year at Argentine. She loves her job because every day is different, and she loves Argentine because she enjoys watching the kids grow through the school year.

Argentine Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Christa Oxford
Ms. Christa joined the Argentine team this school year, but she has been a school psychologist for 15 years. Her favorite part of her job is working directly with students and putting supports in place to be successful in all areas of life. Argentine is special for Ms. Christa because the students are beginning learners and it's often the first school opportunity for them. She loves that early childhood staff get to help kids experience so many school firsts, creating their educational foundation in so many ways.


Argentine Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Dawn Skinner
Ms. Dawn has been Argentine's Speech Therapist for the last eight years. She's been a speech therapist for 27 years. The best thing about speech therapy for Ms. Dawn is helping young learners be able to effectively communicate with their world. Ms. Dawn loves Argentine because it has the most amazing and supportive staff, and because she gets to watch the kids grow and learn daily.

Argentine Staff Spotlight: Ms. Danielle Loynes
Ms. Danielle is the School Nurse at Argentine. She's been a nurse for 16 years and has been at Argentine for one year. Her favorite part of nursing is making a difference in someone's life during a difficult time. She loves Argentine because the kids make her smile and she loves seeing our future generations grow and learn.


Argentine Staff Spotlight: Ms. Becky Natzel
Ms. Becky is Argentine's new secretary. Although she is new to Argentine, Ms. Becky has actually been in the education field for 22 years. Ms. Becky helps our building to run smoothly, assists with Eagle Club, and is usually the first face people see when the enter the building. Thank you for supporting Argentine, Ms. Becky!

Argentine Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Erin Bradley
Mrs. Bradley is the Early Childhood Director at Argentine, but this school year she's also been teaching in Classroom 1. Mrs. Bradley has been a teacher for about 25 years, and has been at Argentine since December 2023. Her favorite part of being a lifelong educator is not only watching young children develop, but also watching teachers continue to hone their craft! Argentine is a special place for Mrs. Bradley because of the small, intimate nature of the building and because of the families who entrust their children to our care every day. It has been such an honor to Mrs. Bradley, to work alongside some of the very best early childhood educators in the business. She is proud of the Argentine staff and loves that she is able to learn from them every day.

Argentine Staff Spotlight: Mrs. Kathy Haycock
Ms. Kathy not only teaches our three-year-olds, she also facilitates Play Together Learn Together and provides before and after school care to our Eagle Club students. She truly is the face of Argentine! Ms. Kathy has been teaching for 33 years, 23 of them at Argentine. Her favorite part of teaching is getting to know the children and their families. Ms. Kathy loves Argentine because, over time, it has become a part of who she is. She is proud of how the building and staff has grown, the relationships we make with families, and the joy and learning that take place within these walls.


Linden Community Schools will be closed today, Friday, December 20, 2024, due to poor travel conditions. We will continue to assess the conditions within our district and make additional announcements regarding after-school activities later this afternoon. Please be safe.

Ms. Melanie has worked at Argentine for over 7 years. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing the moment of discovery on a child's face. Argentine is a special place for Ms. Melanie because every day it fills up with tiny people she loves and she gets to share a small part of their lives at the beginning of their educational journey. Ms. Melanie appreciates the grownups who have chosen to give their children this experience!

Ms. Felicia joined the Argentine team this school year, and has quickly fit right in! Her favorite part of teaching is building connections and being a safe space for the children to take risks. Ms. Felicia loves Argentine because it's always been a special place; her mom attended Argentine, Ms. Felicia attended Argentine, and Ms. Felicia's kids attended Argentine!
